This saddle closure is not just any piece. Its 9 grams have been optimized using advanced calculation methods so that the aluminum flange is even more resistant than the M5 titanium screw that tensions it, resisting a tightening torque greater than 10Nm.
The screw, made of titanium, is tightened using a T25 Torx wrench, the most universal tool on the bike. This element has a spherical seat to adapt to the deformation of the flange throughout the tightening. Its design prevents mud from being retained between the seat post and the closure
