In the area where it is attached to the frame, a special varnish with abrasive particles has been applied that improves fixation without the need for excessive tightening, ensuring stability under highly demanding conditions.
Each unit is tailored to its exact measurements, allowing for precise placement of the saddle's clamping area and optimized carbon tube wall thickness. The clamping area is reinforced with 90° fibers to prevent the tube from becoming oval. The result: a weight reduction of between 15 and 30 grams compared to standard models.
Inspired by the proven Thomson® design, the new Carbolink® system combines that reliability with the lightweight single-moor system. It uses carbon fiber straps to connect one mooring to the other and allow for rotation. It includes custom M6 hardware, achieving an additional 14 grams weight reduction compared to the original HELIUM.
The aluminum tube features an elegant natural hard anodized finish, which not only highlights its striking hue but also provides superior protection against wear and corrosion. Its low roughness also allows for exquisite glide.
